Discover the brand-new Norwegian Aqua
Launched in April 2025 at Port Canaveral, Florida, after which it embarked on its inaugural season of Caribbean cruises, Norwegian Aqua is the first ship in Norwegian Cruise Line’s expanded Prima Plus Class. Prima Plus was designed to build on the cruise line’s reputation for freedom and flexibility with greater space, especially outdoors (including the pool area), unobstructed scenic views on the expanded Ocean Boulevard, and cutting-edge design features.
Extraordinary experiences
Norwegian Aqua’s first-of-its-kind experiences include the all-new Aqua Slidecoaster, no less than the world’s first hybrid rollercoaster and waterslide at sea, with duelling slides for double the thrills, and the Glow Court, a digital sports court. These come in addition to fabulous infinity pools with boundless views, a tidal wave waterslide, and the Kids’ Aqua Park.
The Haven By Norwegian®
There is also a greater choice of spacious suites on board, including the brand-new two-storey Duplex Suites in The Haven By Norwegian®, an exclusive enclave accessible by private keycard, home to its most luxurious and beautifully appointed accommodation. It’s also home to the Haven Restaurant, a private fine-dining experience for the enclave’s guests, serving unique signature dishes both in- and outdoors.
Indulgent dining
Another highlight of Norwegian Aqua is the Indulge Food Hall & Outdoor Lounge with its large deck perfect for socialising and relaxing. This now includes the all-new Planterie with its healthy plant-based options. Meanwhile, the main dining room Hudson’s has been redesigned to lovely effect, now with 270° views through floor-to-ceiling windows accompanying the specially curated modern dishes.

Travel Counsellors on board Norwegian Aqua
A group of 135 Travel Counsellors, along with colleagues from Head Office, were invited aboard the Norwegian Aqua for its inaugural three-night sailing from Southampton to Zeebrugge. During the voyage, they explored everything the ship had to offer, from the thrilling Aqua Slidecoaster and ten-story plunge slide 'The Drop' to the more relaxed Vibe Beach Club with its infinity hot tubs and full-service bar.
After learning everything there is to know about the ship and its facilities, the Travel Counsellors on board described Norwegian Aqua as “an understated masterpiece at sea,” praising its “dozens of smaller restaurants, lounges, and tucked-away bars, each with its own personality.” While docked in Zeebrugge, the group explored Bruges or ventured to Ghent, soaking in the charm of Belgium’s iconic cities before returning to sea for more fun and discovery.
