"Our experience in Zanzibar exceeded all expectations. We started off in Stone Town, with a walking tour which really added an edge to our honeymoon through learning about the slave trade history of the country and the different cultural influences throughout the town. We then moved north to Nungwi and went out with some locals on a boat trip to nearby islands to snorkel. We ate food made from their home (and it was some of the best we had during the whole trip), and the experience of passing other beaches, dhows, and traditional fishermen was amazing."
